¿Qué pasa con el / ****** / comentarios que genera WebPack en la salida? ¿Es para marcar el código relacionado con WebPack, o hay más?

Webpack le proporciona a sus módulos y identificadores de fragmentos para identificarlos. Para minimizar su script, se recomienda utilizar el complemento UglifyJs ( new webpack.optimize.UglifyJsPlugin() ).
