Nota: No soy un principiante, y lo he hecho millones de veces, pero por alguna razón hoy decidió no funcionar.

Sigo recibiendo el Permission denied (publickey). mensaje de error cuando intento conectarme a github a través de SSH o al intentar clonar un repositorio, incluso después de rehacer la clave ssh y agregarla a "claves SSH" en mi cuenta.

Esto es lo que intenté hacer diez veces hoy sin éxito:

1. hacer una clave con ssh-keygen.
2. abra ~ / .ssh / id_rsa.pub con Gedit o Notepad ++ y copie el contenido.
3. Ir a la configuración de la cuenta en github.com
4. Ir a las teclas SSH
5. Haga clic en el botón Agregar clave.
6. dale un título a la llave
7. pega la llave en el cuadro de llave.
8. Guarde la clave (ingrese mi contraseña de github para verificar).

Y ahora, cuando intento hacer ssh github.com , simplemente no funciona ... ¿Qué hay en el mundo? ¿Estoy demasiado cansado en este momento o me estoy perdiendo algo?

Después de crear un archivo de configuración ( ~/.ssh/config ) funcionó. Esto es lo que tuve que poner en esto:

Host github.com
User git
Port 22
Hostname github.com
IdentityFile ~/.ssh/id_rsa
TCPKeepAlive yes
IdentitiesOnly yes

GitHub se sometió recientemente a una auditoría de TODAS las claves. Vaya a la sección clave de su cuenta para volver a aprobarla.

La configuración de GitHub ssh menciona probar su conexión de GitHub con:

$ ssh -T [email protected]

Eso sigue la sintaxis de ssh uri (también ilustrada en " esta respuesta ").

Pero lo hiciste:

ssh github.com

(sin ningún usuario). En ese caso, ssh revierte a la sintaxis de SCP , que se basa en un archivo ~/.ssh/config , con una sección " github.com ", para listar:

• el usuario
• el nombre de host
• (y opcionalmente la ubicación de la clave pública, pero de forma predeterminada, intentará ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub )

Tuve un problema similar, github no usó mi clave SSH. Siempre tuve que ingresar mi nombre de usuario y contraseña.

He estado buscando .git / config, en [origen remoto "] había:

 url = http://github.com/path/to/repository

o

 url = https://github.com/path/to/repository

Cambié la línea en

 url = ssh://[email protected]/path/to/repository

y luego funcionó.
