Tienes una mezcla de versiones de Jetty en la ruta de clase: 9.4.2.v20170220 y 9.2.14.v20151106. El primero es lo que Spring Boot 1.5.2 usa por defecto. Supongo que esto último proviene de la importación de com.google.gwt:gwt .
Puede anular la propiedad jetty.version que Spring Boot usa para establecer su valor en 9.2.14.v20151106 , utilizando 9.2.14 en todas partes. Alternativamente, podría declarar su propia gestión de dependencias para los módulos que actualmente están utilizando 9.2.14 para actualizarlos a 9.4.2.

Hice otra prueba : eliminé la dependencia de Spring-boot: result = misma excepción. Además, el árbol de dependencia muestra todos los atrifactos del muelle en la versión 9.2.14.v20151106
Además, intento buscar en la clase org.eclipse.jetty.websocket.server.WebSocketServerFactory pero no se encuentra. ¿Dónde está presente? ¿Por qué se menciona esta clase en los registros?

Si actualizo la versión de Spring-boot a 1.5.3.RELEASE, parece estar bien: no aparece esa excepción.

Sin embargo, se produjo otra excepción:

Para solucionarlo, he excluido la dependencia de jetty apache-jsp de la dependencia gwt-dev
