Hice una investigación adicional sobre el seguimiento de la pila y encontré el código para Subresourceloader aquí ( https://webkit.googlesource.com/WebKit/+/master/Source/WebCore/loader/SubresourceLoader.cpp ).

Mi conjetura es que m_resource es NULL en este punto marcado con (****) causando el bloqueo:

Si funcionó después de una reinstalación, entonces podría intentar realizar la solicitud de URL sin almacenamiento en caché, ya que asumo que dará el mismo resultado:
