php - disabled - Yii2 datepicker en kartik gridview no funciona

Estoy usando kartik gridview y quiero agregar un datepicker a los campos de búsqueda. También estoy usando datecontrol.

Esto es lo que obtuve, pero la validación no está funcionando:
