Problema muy peculiar aquí, simplemente el activo de la imagen de fondo se mostrará bien en TODOS los teléfonos, excepto el Galaxy Nexus (o lo he encontrado hasta ahora)

Encuentre debajo la galería de la aplicación en múltiples teléfonos diferentes, pero tenga en cuenta en el número de imagen SEIS que el nexo no tiene el fondo?

He establecido soporte para todos los tamaños de pantalla de densidad y grande + XL, publicaré el XML de un diseño, sin embargo, se extiende a través de TODOS los diseños, si tiene controles / diseños lineales o lo que sea.

El Galaxy Nexus es un dispositivo xhdpi. ¿Está la imagen de fondo ubicada en el directorio /res/drawable-xhdpi/ ?

Otra opción, si su fondo es solo un degradado, entonces podría escribir un script de degradado en xml y simplemente colocarlo en su /res/layout/app_bg.xml :
