Primero obtenga una referencia al ConnectivityManager y luego verifique el estado de Wifi y 3G del dispositivo. Necesitará el permiso ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE para usar este servicio.

Necesito detectar en Android si hay alguna conexión Wifi
o 3G

) o EDGE
en Android. Cuando hay una conexión wifi
o 3G
, puedo enviar fotos al servidor, y cuando solo hay una conexión EDGE
para no enviarlas al servidor.
Vi que la conectividad wifi se puede detectar con ConnectivityManager.TYPE_WIFI
y con ConnectivityManager.TYPE_MOBILE
y TelephonyManager.NETWORK_TYPE_EDGE
se puede detectar la conexión EDGE. Pero, ¿cómo se puede detectar 3G o 3G +?
