Esto no responde a tu pregunta sobre el reparto, pero ciertamente puedes subconjuntar y hacer dos derretimientos, seguidos de una fusión:

O, de forma equivalente, realice una fundición (como lo hace actualmente) y luego subconjunte la información fusionada dos veces ( idx <- variable %in% c("idx06","idx07","idx08" ) como uno y !idx como otro) y fusionar esa salida.

De cualquier manera, obtienes lo que quieres:

Pero lo que realmente quiero es algo como esto:

Donde "farve1" y "farve2" están representados en variable2 y value2.

La razón por la que quiero hacer esto, es que me gustaría algo en que el color de la línea sea verde si el valor está cayendo y el rojo si aumenta. EDITAR: Shane ha mostrado cómo remodelar los datos mediante dos fundidos fusionados. Pero mi estrategia parece estar mal concebida desde el principio: INCORRECTA en una palabra.
