Hice esto con la ayuda de problemas de descarga de archivos binarios de Android e Instalar la aplicación programáticamente en Android .

Quiero hacer la actualización automática y la instalación automática a la vez. Es local por lo que es aplicación no comercial.

Mis permisos son INTERNET , WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE , INSTALL_PACKAGES y DELETE_PACKAGES .

Cuando se carga Intent promptInstall , la aplicación falla = /

Entonces, ¿me faltan permisos o mi código es incorrecto, o hay una mejor manera de hacerlo?


Esta pregunta es muy útil PERO No olvide montar la tarjeta SD en su emulador, si no hace esto, no funcionará.

1) Instalo la versión 1 de mi aplicación (funcionando sin problemas) 2) Coloco la versión 2 en el servidor. la aplicación recupera ver2 y la guarda en la tarjeta SD y le pide al usuario que instale el nuevo paquete ver2 3) ver2 instala y funciona como se esperaba 4) El problema es que cada vez que la aplicación se inicia, quiere que el usuario vuelva a instalar la versión 2.

Así que pensé que la solución era simplemente eliminar el APK en la sdcard, pero a ellos la tarea asíncrona simplemente recuperará ver2 nuevamente para el servidor.

Por lo tanto, la única manera de evitar que intentemos instalar la apk v2 de nuevo es eliminarlo de la sdcard y del servidor remoto.

Como puede imaginar, realmente no va a funcionar, ya que nunca sabré cuándo todos los usuarios han recibido la última versión.

Cualquier ayuda para resolver esto es muy apreciada.

NUEVA EDICIÓN: Estaba pensando que todos los archivos APK tienen el mismo nombre. ¿Debo nombrar myapk_v1.0xx.apk y, en esa versión, configurar proactivamente la ruta remota para que busque v.2.0 cada vez que se lance?

He probado la teoría y se resuelve el problema. Debe asignar un nombre a su archivo APK como un tipo de control de versiones, recuerde que siempre debe establecer su número de versión SIGUIENTE en su aplicación actual. No ideal pero funcional.

Resolví el problema. setData(Uri) error en setData(Uri) y setType(String) .
