Question

Estoy ejecutando Mac OS Mavericks 10.9.4.

Instalado Octave 3.8.1 a través de Homebrew que vino con gnuplot 4.6

Tener instalado XQuartz 2.7.6.

Reinicié mi computadora después de que todo estaba hecho.

Para graficar en octave-cli, todos dicen que debería simplemente ''configurar el terminal x11'', pero ni siquiera tengo x11 en la lista cuando ejecuto ''set terminal'' en gnuplot

Por supuesto que octave-cli se quejará de que mi terminal es desconocida.

En El Capitán se muestra error. Entonces, esto es lo que haces:

1. Instale Xquartz primero ...
2. brew reinstall gnuplot --with-qt
3. Abra ''Xquartz'' desde Aplicaciones y NO el ''Terminal''.
4. gnuplot
5. gnuplot> `set terminal xterm 6. plot sen (x)

Encontré la respuesta here . Básicamente gnuplot necesita ser reinstalado como:

brew reinstall gnuplot --with-x11

Usted tiene al menos tres opciones:

1. brew reinstall gnuplot --with-x11
2. brew reinstall gnuplot --with-qt
3. brew reinstall gnuplot --with-qt5

La calidad gráfica de las representaciones es mucho mejor con la opción 3 en comparación con la opción 1.
