En mi caso, fue solo un apóstrofo extra "` "en uno de los archivos js. ASP.NET parece ser sensible a este personaje en particular ( acento Grave ). Así que asegúrese de verificar su código de errores tipográficos.

Tenga en cuenta que esto puede ser causado por JavaScript no válido. Mientras trabajaba en JavaScript, noté que mis paquetes de repente comenzaron a lanzar este mensaje. El seguimiento de pila mostró que estaba explotando en "Microsoft.Ajax.Utilities.JSScanner.ScanTemplateLiteral". Resulta que inadvertidamente agregué un `(retroceso) en mi JavaScript. Tuve el mismo problema y cuando probé con una comprobación diferente descubrí que hay un selector en mi archivo css como este que causa el problema:

.glyphicons-icon _: - o-pre-focus , .glyphicons-icon {background-image: url (../ images / glyphicons.png); }

parece que Microsoft.Ajax.Utilities.CssParser tiene un problema con el selector _: css. Eliminé la línea y está funcionando.

Yo tenía el mismo error. Mi ASP.NET Web Optimization Framework fue actualizado, pero Bootstrap estaba en la versión 3.3.0. Actualicé Bootstrap a 3.3.5 y el error desapareció.
