El problema es con la creación de la nueva cuenta después de Windows 8.1 Update 1 para mí. Si está intentando instalar en Win8.1.1 intente las instrucciones que se encuentran here

Básicamente, necesita restablecer los permisos en la cuenta predeterminada. Recuerdo a alguien que también tiene problemas para crear nuevas cuentas infantiles después de esta actualización.

Ok, después de 6 horas de lucha y ''googlear'' finalmente pude conseguir este trabajo. El problema se debió a algún conflicto de nombre de cuenta. Aquí están los pasos que seguí para corregirlo.

1) Desinstalado el servidor SQL

3) Reinstalado de nuevo con los siguientes cambios.

• En la sección de configuración del servidor, cambié los detalles del nombre de la cuenta a "NT AUTHORITY / LOCALSERVICE" (durante el proceso de instalación)

Recuerde configurarlo como "NT AUTHORITY / NETWORKSERVICE" si el SERVICIO LOCAL no está permitido.
