No se puede instalar rJava en el sistema ubuntu

La forma más fácil de obtener rJava en Ubuntu es instalarlo desde los repositorios en lugar de intentar instalarlo directamente desde CRAN. Desde la línea de comandos esto debería hacer el truco.
sudo apt-get install r-cran-rjava
He visto algunas publicaciones relacionadas con esto ... pero todas las soluciones sugeridas que he visto no parecen funcionar ... Estoy ejecutando R en una instancia de EC2 y ejecuté los siguientes comandos para intentar instalar rJava, pero no sirvió ... Cualquier ayuda sería muy apreciada.

No trabajé en R Studio, así que tuve que usar el terminal, pero luego funcionó perfectamente para mí.
