Tengo el mismo problema. Descargué la biblioteca ZXing y la integé en mi proyecto. La integración es muy difícil y no deseado, y dedico mucho tiempo a limpiar el proyecto y a usar solo la parte de QRCode. Ahora funciona, pero existe un problema conocido con algunos dispositivos Motorola Atrix y DroidX (Android 2.3) donde CaptureActivity muestra una pantalla blanca en lugar de la cámara. Este es un problema con la biblioteca, pero los chicos de ZXing no lo arreglarán. Parece que este problema también está presente en Htc Nexus One. Sé que eres el fundador de ZXing. La aplicación del escáner de código de barras es excelente, pero no la usa como biblioteca en la aplicación. Sugiero desacoplar la aplicación y la biblioteca y escribirle una buena documentación. Además, no entiendo por qué eliminaste el soporte para iOS.


no hay necesidad de instalar zxing para implementar qr reader, solo crea una clase IntentIntegrator.java y IntentResult.java y llama desde tu actividad.
