Te recomendaría que busques uno de los Frameworks de JavaScript que hay. Usamos el prototipo con scriptaculous.

O mire en cualquiera de los otros marcos como JQuery o Dojo.

Estoy buscando a alguien que me explique cómo arrastrar y soltar en javascript, quiero una línea horizontal con algunas imágenes personalizables.

He echado un vistazo a los tutoriales en línea para estos pero los encuentro muy difíciles de usar.
