Estás cerca, pero el parámetro que pasas a SecureStringToBSTR debe ser un SecureString . Parece que está pasando el resultado de ConvertFrom-SecureString , que es una cadena estándar cifrada. Entonces llame a ConvertTo-SecureString sobre esto antes de pasar a SecureStringToBSTR .

$SecurePassword = ConvertTo-SecureString $PlainPassword
$BSTR = [System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal]::SecureStringToBSTR($SecurePassword)
$UnsecurePassword = [System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal]::PtrToStringAuto($BSTR)
