Las opciones de r knitr chunk para la altura/anchura de la figura no funcionan

Solía ​​usar knitr en R para producir informes desde el formato .Rnw . En mis informes, a menudo pongo muchas parcelas y manipulé su tamaño con el uso de trozos ópticos, por ejemplo:

Fue hace unos meses. Luego me mudé a otro entorno, reinstalé R y parece que estas opciones ya no funcionan: ¡ el tamaño de la trama permanece sin cambios en la salida del PDF !

Estoy bastante seguro de que estabas usando Sweave en lugar de knitr . Si estaba utilizando RStudio (no lo dijo pero supongo que sí), debe cambiar la opción global (u opción de proyecto) a knitr :
