¿Cómo listar archivos usando comandos DOS?

¡Necesito enumerar los nombres de los archivos y almacenarlo como archivo de texto!

Lo que hice es usar el siguiente comando dos.

 x:/xyz> dir *.* > files.txt

Lo que esto hace es que almacena los nombres de los archivos presentes en el directorio xyz, así como el tamaño, la hora y la fecha de los archivos.

¿Cómo obtener solo los nombres de los archivos?

Probar dir /b , para formato simple .

dir /? le mostrará documentación de lo que puede hacer con el comando dir . Aquí está la salida de mi máquina con Windows 7:

dir /b /a-d > file.txt
