Creo que debes usar el método de override setUserVisibleHint .

Debes agregar esto en tu Fragment .

Acabo de revisar tu código. El problema es que no está proporcionando ningún diseño para inflar dentro de ContentFragment.java.

Cambié tu método a

Después de hacer estos cambios, las pestañas se desplazaban suavemente. No sé la razón detrás de este comportamiento, pero esto lo hizo funcionar

En primer lugar, para que todo funcione sin problemas, no realice operaciones pesadas en el hilo principal, utilice tareas asincrónicas (no toque las vistas en una tarea asíncrona), y todo será uniforme de todos modos :)
